Kenneth Higney - Attic Demonstration (1976)

Some pretty damaged folk-rock - Kenneth Higney.zip.html - Higney, a New Jersey truck driver/songwriter self-produced this downbeat ramshackle, and  at times epically bleak home recording with a group of local musicians(?),  in hopes that other musicians would buy and/or perform his songs...song titles include "Night Rider" and "No Heavy Tucking" - This is not C.W. McCall "Convoy" truckers' music.  You really have to hear this music whether you want to or not!  K. Higney - "a monster record, that drowned in the swamp after being chased by villagers."

Juan De La Cruz - Shake Your Brains

Juan De La Cruz.html.zip  (1973) - A band, not someone's name.  Heavy Rock from the Phillipines with American vocals.  Sex and Party-obsessed Bluesy Stoner Jams.  Includes lyrics like; "Get Drunk all day, Get Down all night."  "I'll meet you down in the alley, and show you how it can be."   Uhhh - Right On!  See you there.....

OddFutureWolfGangKillThemAll!!!

Why You Should Listen To The Rap Group Odd Future, Even Though It's Hard - I came across this piece on OFWGKTA via NPR's The Record. As with most journalists and critics there are valuable and interesting insights as well as irrelevant and misinformed opinions.....However, this is a great introduction to a group that is quickly becoming more than another underground phenomenon. Having used NightsOverLittleEgypt to rep Lil B as an artist to watch, I will now drop some OFWGKTA - related science. As mentioned in a previous Tyler the Creator post: "Odd Future is The Future (of Technocratic Backpack Hip-Hop)!" Get Down or Get the Fuck Out The Way. Swag, Swag, Swag, Swag, Swag.

OFWGKTA - Radical (2010)

OFWGKTA-Radical (2010) - Essential Odd Future!  This link will plug you into DatPiff, where you can download the entire album (for free).  Don't Sleep!

BLOOD MOON - Fraction.zip.html the holy grail of West-Coast Christian Psych Rock, and boy is it a whopper.....Legendary 70s lost rock masterpiece, early stoner-rock, drug-damaged garge psych, LSD burnouts/born-again christians, a dark world of Christian acid angst......ONE KILLER MUSICAL JOURNEY!

Without a doubt, one of the best and most unique live shows I have come across in a while(courtesy of Know Your Conjurer). However, I love and respect the immortal Frank Zappa and this is DEFINITELY WORTH YOUR TIME!

Recipe for Tasty Donuts

Recipe for Tasty Donuts-Having been a SuperFan of the late great J Dilla since '98, (long before Fantastic Vol. 2 was even available as an official release) when i first read about Slum Village and Jay via Questlove's original OkayPlayer blog/site, I was very surprised to have never run across this strictly bootleg compilation of the original songs Jay sampled for the immaculate Donuts record.  Wow!  I own some of the originals on vinyl, but not even close to all of these dusty gems.  If you are a fan of Dilla or Soul and R&B, this is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE.  The link will plug you right into the zip file, which contains all the song titles and artists.  ESSENTIAL!
