13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere

This is a Psych-Rock masterpiece and (without any doubt), a fundamental of the genre...If you don't have this and enjoy psychedelic rock you should be ashamed...but not for long, because you can get it here and now....The Mythical and Amazing Roky Erikson and his 13th Floor Elevators do not dissappoint.  Plus (time wise), it seems relevant.....Download -  Here

Terry Riley - A Rainbow In Curved Air

Famed Minimalist Composer's most well-known work....Many a educated and intellectual music fan cite Riley as an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT  INFLUENCE on contemporary and innovative musicians and composers of the electric and experimental realms (and your first thought was.."Damn,check the sweet-ass skullet!"....)  See for yourself.  Download - Here

Ron "Pigpen" McKernan - Bring Me My Shotgun - Solo Acoustic Demos (1966)

Yes.  N.O.L.E. loves the Grateful Dead too.....Solo Acoustic Pigpen from '66, recorded in his San Francisco apartment.  Not earth-shattering, but pretty rare, and very engaging...If you, (like me) love the Pigpen era of the Dead.  Download -  Here

John Carpenter - Escape From New York OST

John Carpenter made some great movies....he also made some shit ones.   However, his work as a soundtrack composer was almost always right on (especially on the masterful proto-techno OST to Assault On Precinct 13).  He used a synth and drum machine based sound to lend sci-fi futurist horror elements to his sci-fi futurist horror films.....makes sense right....Anyway, this is another one of his finer efforts from a cult-classic.....it also includes dialogue.  Download - Here

Amon Duul - Paradieswärts Düül [1970]

A MUST HEAR!  Exquisite Kraut Folk-  Amon Duul II Paradieswärts Düül [1970]

John Phillips - (John, Wolf King of L.A.) (1969)

The first solo album from the Mamas & Papas premier member.  Some of the finest compositions he ever penned as well...A laid-back drugged-out country feel (he seems completely out of it on hard and heavy drugs) with top session musicians make for a SPECTACULAR album. DIG!   Download - Here

Exuma - Vol. 1 (1970)

A bit of a combination of Bahamian Folk music, and Dr. John at his most voodoo-ed and gris-gris-ed out.  Difficult to categorize, but AMAZING!  Download - Here

Cybotron - Enter (1983)

The Godfather of Techno Juan Atkin's first full-length under the name Cybotron.  A benchmark in the advent of electronic music.    Download - Here

Electric Wizard - Dopethrone (2000)

A dirge masterpiece of the doom/stoner metal variety.  Electric Wizard hail from England and are the reputed "heaviest band in the universe"....Obscenely Heavy and Supremely Awesome.  Download - Here
